Connecting the dots of youth world's most joyful leaders and beautiful dreams to action network

mail chris.macrae@yahoo.co.uk if you are concerned to be introduced into any of these conversations

topic 1 world's most trusted job creating educators and bankers

note on africa's blecher and Imunro- and women empowerment tech nailaC

dear I & N -urgent i believe that I introduce you-  started up africa's greatest youth microcredit in 1999- her love of orphans made JB"s happy families her retirement project; JB united youth gangs oit just mothers circles; it was also the first electroniic operated-transactions microcredit; it also had a simple idea- show you can earn something and we will offer loan to double that; N's grassroots work more than anyone connected village ladies training with mobile phones; she also runs her own telecentre business for abused women; she finally left dhaks 2 years ago for family reasons; she is signing womens empowerment projects across africa; in kenya she knows the networks behind the technology of mpesa and nanocredit; in south africa I have introduced her to taddy blecher who is introducing youth entrepreneur curricula to 14 million school children a year -whence 1 million jobs will be created in next 5 years- a model any major african capital could twin with if it is prepared ti change its schools; if you read quadirs mit journal innovations vol 6 issue 4 - you will see that kenya's banking regulations that I helped shaped have inspired a network of 100+ national regulators to debate the future of cashless banking which is as much a regulatory issue as an open tech issue- this is where sir fazle and the quadirs experiment with bkash.com may yet determine where bangladesh's youth futures spin

Angelo : 2 talk-related issues that excited my family's entrepreneurial revolution friends :

1) Jim Kim is most pro-youth person to have headed the world bank. He has authorised the youngest 10?% of world bank employees to convene "youth summits" - the 3rd will be this summer in new york in partnership with the UN envoy for youth and open technology. I' love to know of other summits where the debriefings and change in curricula are actually led by youth. I am hoping that one day khan academy will bring his production facilities to world summits and invite youth to present new action learnings -that would make an interesting contrast to eg the process of this MOOC (at least the presenters of the first 2 hours of content)

2) A section of the summit involved debates between team oceans and team space. I know the person at NASA (Ron Garan) who spends a lot of his time experimenting with the most massive collaboration formats including youth pitching experimental solutions. I am also interested in knowing  how to linkin leaders of prizes for bottom up energy eh Http://ashden.org and those mobilising village womens networks http://women4empowerment  (the un social good summit is help during a festival of summits during UN week- i think the womens wing of that festival wasnt particularly at 92y this year though I am delighted to re-informed)

Also the last 10 seconds of this richard branson interveiw during the summit makes youth case https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvKqfLC5z7c

related youth summit and youthmooc links : 1   2   3  4

which is youth's greatest tragedy of commons of 2010s

I'd love to hear nominations for youth's biggest tragedy of commons of 2010s

currencies are a contender because:
its youth who are trapped in bailing out a currency that bubbles

my reasoning for believing currency is a long term versus short-term conflict system starts by asking what sort of a currency would I most like to be exposed to as a parent of (say) teenagers- I'd like to have most of my savings in a currency that could be expected to slowly rise over the years as the human lot progressed. I know of no asset class that allows me as a US resident to save in this way.

conversely the currency I'd least like to be associated is the one most used by biggest banks of the sort that have dominated the first 14 years of the 20th century and i would also like to stay out of a currency involved in excessive investments in property

back in 1984 when economists debated what would need to happen for the net generation to be worldwide youth's most productive and collaborative time, there was a lively debate on how do we prevent currencies compounding lost generations (see for example the review of the first 100 publications in the hobart series of the IEA)

Dear Madeline

Thanks for our phone call today

Could I introduce you to King so that you could see if Jim is interested in meeting King

They both live in baltimore- King is heading up research on why a DC chapter of Conscious Capitalism may be timely

His own specialities include benefit corps , diaspora models , crowdfunding, and black youth entrepreneur training media and community regeneration projects

One of the timely multipliers is that this will be the second year of the university of district of columbia inviting pitches from students in 20 universities and 5 neighbouring states. I helped them get Muhammad Yunus us to start this process off last year. This year they are having several guest evenings at the University of District of Columbus campus and King is hosting the first of these on 30 January

King has spent a lot of the last 6 months: searching conscious capitalism chapters' core interests, applying for a chapter licence and connecting a core group of prospective chapter co-founders- so that's why sharing views of se-alliance and CC formation could be timely

As I indicated there are about 10 other emerging networks that I help linkin given that Atlanta wants to be the favorite social capital of yunus and youth with opinion leaders like ted turner family, luther king family, carter family and 12 nobel laureates youth networks, and 100 historically black university college entrepreneur competition being the reason for starting this convergence

It happens that the main regional host of youth summits lives just outside of baltimore- she worked with yunus on mobile tech (grameenphone) in the villages for 14 years and is now a leading connector of womens empowerment and first ladies responsibility networks - naila chowdhury www.women4empowerment.org

I keep an informal blog at http://youthcreativelab.blogspot.com but there will be major updates when I get a briefing from leaders first quarter of this process which my fathers foundation co-sponsored a first meeting of in November. Dad was the pro-youth economist at The Economist for the first 40 years and our 1984 book previewed everything that could go socially right or wrong with the entrepreneurial revolution and open education of the first net generation, Dad was mentored on economics by Keynes which means that he saw the first duty of all economists as designing systems to end poverty. I spend a lot of my time searching out which segment of economists can be trusted to that system goal - especially as 2018 will be the 175th anniversary of The Economist being founded to mediate that reasoning

Net Generation system maps 1984-2024

Curriculum of Entrepreneurial Revolution started 1972

I am running around this afternoon; I will try and make all or part of the phone-in

If I miss it my main queries are:

I am not sure if what's presented is an iterative negotiating idea to help dc citizens change everything the world (especially youth futures) needs dc citizens to get collaborative about or an investible model

If its the former fine, but who's our next round of negotiation with-for example do we see if the new york group who proposed a 10 billion cc fund are trustworthy

.

If its the latter I need a heck of a lot of collective  training  to be confident of understanding it

To start with in terms of man hours we seem to be proposing a structure that is equivalent to sustaining 4 full time co-workers ( I realise the work is spread out way beyond 4 people and some of it is what they already do in a parallel capacity) but the next question would be where do funds come from to sustain that amount of work

here I run into a problem - if it is from subscriptions then may main professional side is explaining to large companies huge innovation opportunities to co-sponsor; I havent a clue how to explain the value at the $25000 entry point- moreover if we are planning main early funding from big organisations I believe we should not be trying to approach organisations one by one but pitching to a dream cluster of corporates whomever that might be

I would also like to note a more technical ownership issue

Let us suppose that we did develop a model in which we actually helped facilitate change of some of the largest organisations to fully value conscious capitalism - would the centre then claim this was their franchise not ours- one thing I urge you to do is develop a logo perhaps around CCDC so that if we ever had to split from the mother hen it was the CCDC badge that members identified with

-related transparency questions- I do not know who's in the executive team of CC

-I only know there are 50 people visible at chapter levels

A CASEMAP TO COMPARE

while the rest of this mail may or may not seem relevant to sustaining CCDC I am trying to show how specific the first sets of partnership relationship need to multiply value around mediating a credible collaborative worldwide platform for youth good -if you have your own parallel case lets see it

I am working on spaces which unite youth-led processes some of which members of CCDC can be world leading trainers on such as how to crowdfund or how to do diaspore models; some of which the world needs us out of DC to be as great at collaborating on because the timing is uniquely possible - eg empowering black youth to regenerate communities through replicating solutions they help innovate and socially mediate

However the truth  (or the practical possibilities as far as I see how to link them ) is that some gamechanging ideas I know about are way more developed than CCDC = take eg taddy blechers change of a national education system with the goal of producing a million new jobs in the next 5 years; that already has top partners around the world - branson, google africa etc- it didnt start by saying join a group at the top fee level- it customised how to serve such people - so branson said he would love to see an entrepreneur curriculum as unconventional as he is- so south africa became the lab for developing that - something which took about 7 yeras and fed off branson having done a reality tv (apprentice show the exact opposite of the dreaded donald trump) - actually the main connector of branson and taddy was a late 20s female from atlanta whose twin passion was to become a billionnairess with her fashion hosiery and use half of it for womens empowerment - she and taddy and branson are all on rapidly rising and hugely collaborative ex;ponentials towards their goals - for the next 2 years south africa is the most exciting space to learn from not only because of taddy but because mandela elders want his curriculum shared with worldwide community building youth and because the nobel summit sponsored as atlanta's greatest ever black youth event in november 2015 calls off first in Cape Town october 2014

here is a list of collaboration brands/purposes that I am already committed to and which I personally cannot be distracted from

www.singforhope.org better for youth and americana than even coke's most famous ad I'll teach the world to sing -what connection does this also have with luther-king-mandela-rights around the world -for 4 years now I have been introducing singforhope to agencies on madison avenue while making it clear if they try and take it over I have the connections to bust them; for 12 years now I have been presenting this type of model to global reconciliation and risk conferences especially those that link through eastern hemisphere and all its cultural clashes- I assume you know that the vast majority of the world's poor live ...- if the number 1 job of economics is to improve people's livelihoods then it behoves us to help youth network the highest trust eastern trading relationships ever marketed (value chain transformed)

www.women4empowerment.org how first ladies can change the world with 1 responsible fashion, 2 mobile open technology, 3 turning up at brilliant community regeneration happenings , 4 networking the real events to be at when cities are in the world's eye - eg as new york is for the first week of each UN year -note ted turner family has put about a billion dollars in linking un week and atlanta as the future lab US south and green connectors

3 the connection between any job developing youth summit where it helps improve processes youth can action such as crowdfunding or making million youth pitches to khan academy type platforms

taddy blechers' movement to change all education systems to be job creating

5 out of kenya - the regulations needed so youth-led banking is sustained through such movements as jamiibora, mpesa, nanocredit (and hopefully the future purpose of obama in linking together microbanking most extreme cases which remain in kenya and bangladesh but that are coming under fierce attack which will decide the cultural sustainability of region for rest of this century)- the space facilitated by the ibrahim foundation is also hugely relevant as by asking which african leaders will be trusted in retirement one maps back the question of whether any 20th c government anywhere has really been the main player in ending poverty -which since tv ads came along I dont know of anywhere that gov has led end poverty system designs; kenya is also the only place in dev-world so far to have built ilabs (accelerators/community sustainability hubs...) around country's leading open tech wizards

6 a clearing house of which models of youth capitalism work where catalogued first by what's the greatest conflict they need to overcome -this mother of all curricula can be used to survey - does a place have an economist whose life work matches these models- of course I am biased but Glasgow started this game off in 1758 with the theory of moral sentiments- the last time I can find any american city with an economist in this group is the 1960s which makes me suspect that if worldwide youth are to be sustainable americans have more to learn than to teach -in any event DC as lobby city of the world is currently number 1 anti-youth city in terms of its institutions - which of course means a citizens entrepreneurial revolution movement to build out of dc is the challenge with the most money that will be thrown against it of any I can imagine unless we make collaboration not competition our advantage - do we have a collaboration plan in the document or privately? If you think there is a sustainable youth economist living in usa- for goodness sake nominate him to soros who is doing the only sustainable survey of that sort

7 I am fascinated by the immediate future of what is the world's most collaborative ngo but whose succession is now up for grabs- and where every single dynamic of us foreign relations is accidentally making youth-access to this ngo less and less sustainable- this particular brand is impossible to safely support in public- if you need to know about it then we better have a coffee. To date only the japanese understand this problem though what my friends and I need to do is find out whether a chinese like Jack Ma gets it. I say this because starting at The Economist boardroom I have co-hosted 4 remembrance parties to my father- only the japanese embassy in dhaka wanted to discuss this particular crisis. Maybe you most trusted personal networks can reach somewhere I dont know how to reduce degrees of separation between

.Index to exponential opportunities and risk of net generation ..

Top 7 searches for 10 times more affordable : politicians, health, ...

Michael

I have 2 sorts of recommendations

1) Specific connections with other youth and womens empowerment summit movements with a first "convergence" in 2015

2) Including your message in meetings of a capital's (In this case DC's) leading social and change futures citizen network

Taking second first: I am advising DC's founder of conscious capitalism movement which is now in 20 chapters- it began as Whole Food's CEO John Mackey social movement beyond microcredit which he is already a leading investor in at http://wholeplanetfoundation.org. To sustain a chapter we have to put on a large meeting once a quarter as well as continuously build newsletters so your movement could be a perfect partner in that. I cant imagine any message of yours being incompatible though we would like to share solutions networks and not just announce your main event. Also the way Capitalism chapters interact is to announce what they are best at (and wish to twin with others) so this would be a very good time to decide whether DC is best at international connections not just within usa attempts to redesign community regeneration

Naila Chowdhury who for 13 years did more training and strategy development of how village women used mobiles than anyone with Dr Yunus is now a DC neighbour- so I connect closely with her advice and partnership development in 3 ways :

  1. how first women can change the world  ,
  2. how open technology can be mobilised as a bottom-up gamechanger,  -she is a big connector of nanocredit in africa and she is able to chat with the quadir-mit team that does the open technology wizardry needed in cashless banking systems such as mpesa and bkash
  3. and what the cultural conflicts in bangladesh are really about (while director of grameen phone Naila was the only one who could chat with Hasina to try and mediate because her family have historically been one of the civil engineering firms that built dhaka)

I can introduce you to naila to work out positive top level connections between your movement and others she helps. Naila and I are friends with taddy blecher who with branson and google africa and government has changed whole education system to offer missing curriculum of youth entrepreneurship- as well as 5 university colleges , the 2010s goals is to teach 14 million children a year practices of entrepreneurship and create a millions jobs out of s.africa- as well as to twin with other million job creating capitals which change content of schooling

In particular Naila and I specialise on information flows between youth summits:

Last year atlanta's great and good including ted turner, jimmy carter and luther king family asked yunus what would atlanta need to d to become his favorite us capital- and he said organise an end 2015 summit which puts youth at epicentre of job creation , editing post 2015 millennium goals and peer to peer education opening up practice curricula such as lowest cost nursing colleges - so atlanta has won the pitch to converge all youth networks of nobel peace laureates nov 2015 with yunus interests (with 2104 summits relationship which connect with legacy of mandela Cape Town October 2014)

Other summits nails and I already try and linkin :

world bank youth summit

UN youth summit

G20Y summit

also we see 5 usa citizen chapters as especially critical to connect for youth first : Atlanta because of yunus nobel summit; DC and NY because macreconomically and politically  these are 2 worst for youth future capitals that need bottom up changing; boston and san francisco which is where all the open technology links in - of course we'd love to know how paris sees say 5 first youth capitals across europe or across each continent to try and make future of youth linked in -eg around post 2015 greatest collaboration goals and action learning solutions.

We have a million postcard process for getting youth to viralise ideas yunus dreams of but hasnt yet started to get fuill investment in- for example his daughter www.monicayunus.com at www.singforhope,org aims to unite superstar artists who wish to community regenerate not greenwash. To be frank our greatest weakness is chinese connections -we desperately look for a process where we can unite chinese students abroad in helping hunt out who is micro-up china's who who. Back in 2006 Yunus had 2 wonderful china development stories that have now become dangerous to animate locally. Postcard one how to make cox's bazaar the region's singapore or dubai- ie triad gateway of bangladesh and china and india; postcard 2 how to maximise yunus knowhwo and china development swaps- danone made a huge start on that with Ying Yang Bao infant nutritional partners but likes lots of inward investment swaps the yunus name is now the opposite of a free passport wherever hasina controls the borders- she partners india in blocking any chinese trade for reasons that are cultural and highly conflicted against open youth futures

Its our wish to make win-wins between all summits, youth jobs movements and citizen investment chapters as well as processes that youth can lead which include:

crowdfunding

youth entreprneeur competitions

creating content for platforms like khan academy

hosting their own beyond microcredit student clubs and portals in ways that connect university towns

empowerment training - eg Blecher offers maharishi curricula ...

So if above sounds interesting to you, I think best first step would be to introduce you to naila and chapter leader of conscious capitalism Chris King. Both naila and I would like to do a paris trip sometime. For example HEC has just started to MOOC and it would be a pity if convergences curriculum doesnt connect with everything yunus would like taught that business schools still don't given Paris's history since 2005 of aiming to be his favorite international capital

Its true that I have one personal agenda, 2018 is my next date as it is 175th anniversary of The Economist being founded to end hunger- there is a scottish curriculum which goes back to adam smith's moral sentiments and twinned with france our auld ally of how does one design systems around the 99%  of people's livelihoods not the top 1% - the word entrepreneur's origin is about exactly that peoples capitalism/development process- Last month Glasgow University principal hosted 4th remembrance party to my father and another adam smith scholars- our main question how does glasgow as epicentres of adam smith economics get missing curriculum of youth economics partnered around the world of open online

and we need to find a way so that the EU is turned back to being www.entrepreneurialunion.com - I would love to give that web back to partners in europe's bottom up youth job creating futures. There remain 2 missing links that the whole of European youth need to know about first:

1 is soros out of budapest who connects both open society and ground-up economists www.ineteconomics.org

2 is sir fazle abed - there still ought to be a way to connect how with convergences - that's if you want to make a personal invitation - what's bottom up banking's future in bangladesh is represented by brac at all 3 levels- the village microcredit, banks with values at city levels, the future of cashless banking where unlike yunus sir fazle develops best relationships with MIT and other world epicentres of open technology - what sir fazle really wants is to be featured at a summit where production facilities abound to capture maximum 9-minute audio trainings- ie a marriage between a summit's peak immediate impact and 24/7 youth connections to a khan-academy type platform activising the legacy knowhow of such greats as mandela, abed, yunus, soros , farmer ... ...

If there are any quick starts we can make tell me. If the whole map is worth exchanging personally in paris tell me when's best for you.

chris

Hello Jill

I would like to discuss with you agendas of conscious capitalism and microcredit; i live in bethesda region and have interviewed dr muhammad yunus 20 times including 10 visits to dhaka; I try and connect youth summits and corresponding chapters

right now I am trying to help 2 local movements:

1 start up of the Dc chapter of conscious capitalism

2 the university of dc as region's (20 university) yunus youth entrepreneur competition host

first event uniting both both of these networks is at university of DC on thursday evening

would lie to share contacts, information, any potential ideas to linkin youth to your work and the above

Norman Macrae Foundation for open education and youth capitalism -net generation curricula started at The Economist 1972

NMF is a minor sponsor of Atlanta's invitation to million youth to converge on Atlanta Nov2015 with Nobel Laureate Peace Summit and the new 501 foundation YunusCreativeLab that links in regional youth futures inspired by such leading families as Ted Turner, Jimmy Carter and Martin Luther King as well as Atlanta's wish to be a leading twin future capital of Youth and Yunus

Hello

Would there be any chance of a 15 minute interview with Mr Ahmad Alhendawi while I'm in New York February 5,6,7

GENRE OF ENTREPRENEURIAL REVOLUTION (ER)
My father's (Norman Macrae)life work at The Economist diarised the curriculum of youth economics and sustainability's exponential crisis of whether the first net generation would be empowered to collaborate around millennium goals- a question raised in our 1984 future history of net generation)

While dad died in 2010, ER 5 year plan to 2018 is the most critical to sustaining global village youth everywhere. Dad's last project began with Muhammad Yunus in 2007 and has involved me in 20 interviews of Dr Yunus including 10 in Bangladesh. We have hosted various birthday wish parties around Dr Yunus including one in Dhaka that reconnected Grameen and BRAC; and one in Glasgow University where Adam Smith Scholars and Yunus celebrated the first 250 yeras of the curriculum of Moral Sentiments

I am trying to research the various youth summits, open education platforms and citizen chapters (eg conscious capitalism and women4empowerment) that could converge around the Future Capitalism of Youth

I briefly talked to Mr Alhendawi at the World Bank youth summit -and understand the next in this series will be co-hosted with UN in New York. Our Foundation helped as a minor sponsor of the opening event in Atlanta's Nov 2015 goals to show that youth jobs summits can be more impactful than the Olympics. 12 Nobel Laureates, the families of Yunus, Ted Turner, Jimmy Carter, Luther King are committed to Atlanta twinning Youth capitals around the world- and halfway along the road to Atlanta the Nobel Laureate summit connects through Cape Town Oct 2014. I am researching other summit as collaboration processes (not just the event themselves) including G20Y, Paris's convergences2015, microcreditsummit, the EU social enterprise summit

Two unique dynamics that Normans Friends seek to connect this information round are:
1) how to help youth and microfranchise networks such as Grameen, BRAC, Jamii Bora spread missing curriculum of youth economics through moocs and khan academy type platforms
2) how to convince shareholders of The Economist that 20-18's 175th anniversary of The Economist should get back to the founder's goal of mediating an end to hunger-as well as how to positively involve China - a plan my father started to debate in The Economist from 1975

If Mr Alhendawi isnt available would there be someone who edits your newsletters and forward diaries of events that youth can join in that I could meet?

sincerely

reference: http://wholeplanetfoundation.org/cp/Musicians-for-Microcredit

main reason for asking: - for 5 years now, our professional media expert network has been giving pro-bono support to Monica Yunus' http://www.singforhope.org

2014-15 Updating Atlanta's I have a Dream Networks 50 years after Luther King's Nobel

Monica's network is the most simple collaborative link in a 21 month race to demonstrate that twinning capitals of youth job creating summits can have more positive economic and social impact than hosting the olympics- musicians for community regeneration can do what coca-cola could only image over with its early 1970s (new seekers pop) campaign of I'd like to teach the world to sing.

Since late 2012, Atlanta's first families inviting netgen youth to just do the most productive celebration ever include: Ted Turner's , Jimmy Carter's , Luther King's, The Mayor's ...Half way through the next 21 months of this plan, Nobel Youth action summit will be stopping off at CapeTown (Oct 2014)

if you are supporting a "musician's regenerates community event" - would love to know chris.macrae@yahoo.co.uk - new york's next micro event in this series sees Monica team up with womens empowerment networks to extend the celebrations to Art For Hope New York 5 February

Incidentally the wholeplanet bookmark above should put you in middle of wholeplanet's catalogue of get involved programs- would love to hear if chapters actively connect with any of them

Footnote Monica's Story
Her mum ( a russian american) met yunus in the 1960s while he was a professor at east tenessee state;she only lasted 3 months in dhaka after Monica's birth there- whence Monica didnt see her father (much ) for 30 years- she became a self-made operatic star . She was within sight of the world trade centre when 9/11 happened so she asked herself : could she do more than be an Opera Star. SingforHope is that more- and it could just be the most optimistic youth network to connect with over next 21 months - if you so choose

Media Footnote on DC Yes You Can Movements
Twice huge youth hope movements have been started up out of DC with the Yes You Can Slogan. It was the slogan of Yunus keynote speech in launching microcreditsummit 1997 and microcredit knowhow networks. It was the promise in 2008 of Obama to youth networks that wanted to linkin to community generation. So at this 3rd time of asking, we seek to twin Atlanta and DC as Youth's Job Creating Future Capitals - where else wants to join youth jobs creating party sans frontieres?

how do we help host dc launch of this book if it comes to dc

Jimmy Carter Writing Book on Women's Rights

Jimmy Carter's next book will be a defense of women's rights and an attack against those who use religion to deny equality.

Simon & Shuster announced Tuesday that the former president's "A Call To Action: Women, Religion, Violence, and Power" will be published March 25. The publisher says Carter will draw upon personal observations from his worldwide travels as he condemns abuses of women and girls and the alleged distortions of religious texts cited as justification.

The 89-year-old has written a wide range of books since leaving office in 1981, from memoirs and poetry to a controversial work on the Middle East, "Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid."-----------------------------------------------------------

ps Atsu founded Akira out of Japan and would like advice on:1 how can g20y youth processes learn from nobel laureate or world bank/un youth summit processes; he would also like advice from eg david on how to get involve with cape town oct 2014 nobel peace laureate summit as akira has already done a lot of work in cape town; jimmy carter is one of the 4 top people in atlanta locally celebrating nov 2015 coming of nobel laureates and virtual millions of youth to Atlanta

Naila has longer experience than anyone on how mobile phones empower women villagers as she was the first technology women to co-found village ILabs with muhammad yunus and nurjahan begum- I think she knows a bit about most of your collaborations with youth and women as does Monica. (Monica is testing how to teach new york to sing worldwide peace through every community  before Atlanta 2015 - social mediation expert note Atlanta's last attempt at such celebration Coke 1971 didnt actually network real youth at all)

The blecher family have done more to introduce job creating entrepreneur curriculum throughout a nation's education system than anyone I have ever searched; david ives is the american who knows most longitudinally about the 15 years of nobel peace laureate summits and their increasing focus on youth action network; victoria is in the world bank youth professional team who Jim Kim has instructed to make youth summits as deep and youth practical as youthful human movements can be; danielle connects the secretariat that collects the most ground-up green knowhow around the world

Ingrid founded Jamii Bora youth microcredit out of Kenya- many people including Queen Sofia of spain wanted to see whether this semi-urban youth microcredit could replicate across doens of countries; maria nowak started the only youth jobs microlending network know to me that has scaled in western europe-it was on france 24 last night and maria also knows who's who at paris www.convergences2015.org a 5000 person summit and also the Paris-linked originators in 2005 of global social business investment networks with yunus

any errors in above introductions are solely mine - chris macrae washington dc 301 881 1655

Dear Shaina

Could you forward this mail to Erich , and see if he would like to discuss it

In the middle of quite a few youth and leadership networks which ideally I would like to brief Erich on directly

As I think he knows, much of my family's life work aims  to replace ad-led youth branding with something that has far more value for youth and their future .livelihoods - and we now have dozens of partners converging oh showing that a youth jobs and entrepreneur and open education summit twinned across capital cities can have mote impact than even an Olympics. Atlanta Nov 2015 will be the biggest test of this in the USA with the backing of such top local families as Jimmy Carter's, Ted Turner's Luther King's ....

All of this is much easier to explain in person

I will be up in new york several times in coming months including next week

between 5 and 7 february

sincerely

What I like to do most of all is swap stories of Capitals that are open-society collaborating in youth futures (livelihoods rising communally) - after all isn't that what the
worldwide web was designed by world changer Berners Lee for?  As an internationalist Scot I came to Washington DC 18 years ago (accidentally as my wife and then my baby daughter wanted to study here).. Maybe I have been looking in the wrong place,
but largely I would say this lobbyist's epicentre and relic of 20th C superpower ranks near the value multiplying bottom of capitals helping youth to change the world. Dont misread me- of course Wash DC has huge resources and arguably number 1 brand for
helping youth but it is dominated by the segment of economists Keynes feared most as destroyers of youth futures (if while you are a teenager only ever read one extract by an economist I would recommend the last 3 pages of Keynes General Theory)

However there have been a few extraordinary signs recently so I suggest if you post - on DC or your capital - you just list the positives:
3 World Bank youth summit cheered on by JIm Kim and seconded by UN Envoy for Youth  (love this plea for the next social movement https://class.coursera.org/changetheworld-001/lecture/33 )
2 Blessed Coffee's The best value chain map for calling the world of 200000 poorest African farmers I have ever had the privilege to audit
1 Being invited to judge a youth Entrepreneur competition animated out of Tuskegee University- a university founded by the former slave Booker T Washington. This being a part of a world series of events where a whole region is asked to "listen to your
youth's most entrepreneurial pitch" connected by youth's favorite job creating economist Muhammad Yunus (his DC meetup on this being here and this change the world finishing line for celebrating youth's 2015 millennium goals converging here)

I believe you people may know more about how to help black youth connect this challenge than anyone in DC
YOUTH SUSTAINABILITY (LOST GENERATION) CHALLENGE
clearly a tragedy is tv mass advertising age did the very opposite to the purpose of developing youth livelihoods which is the only way communal growth is ever sustained- that's why Entrepreneurial Revolution's  undercover mission on the road to Atlanta  -main sponsors luther king family, turner cnn & UN foundation family, carter rights family) or any Capital with a future is make youth job creating summits more popular as a worldwide intercity movement than the olympics ( this worldwide challenge movement swarms on cape town oct 2014 and atlanta nov 2015 - but will dc black youth be fully linked into it)

my apologies if this isnt your joint collaboration  interest

at ofc, udc students introduced me to daryll's nexcelerator a better incubator space for youth that any I have ever seen pitched; at UDC sylvia, king and tebabu introduced the world's most joyful economic end to end diaspora model for ending poverty www.blessedcoffee.us

When Darryl Hill took the football field in 1963 wearing a Terps uniform, he caused a stir before the game even started.

Hill ’65 was known as the Jackie Robinson of Southern college football for his role as the first black football player in the ACC. Emmy award-winning writer and English Professor Michael Olmert ’62, Ph.D. ’80 recreates Hill’s experience in his new play, “Moving the Chains: The Darryl Hill Story.”

“Darryl, he didn’t set out to be a hero of the race problem. He just wanted to be a football player,” Olmert says. Nevertheless, racism propelled Hill to excel on the field and in the classroom.

“Bigotry was my steroids,” reads one of Hill’s lines in the play. “It jacked me up into revenge, got the old juices flowing.”

Olmert, a prolific author of books, plays, films and TV documentaries, set this story on stage instead of in the pages of a book because “a play is a much more intense experience than a nonfiction book.”

Hill attended a table reading of the play in Tawes hall last May. Students questioned him afterward, expressing disbelief at the discrimination he faced. Hotels refused to house the team and he was subjected to death threats and racist taunts.

People are “used to seeing the hoses and demonstrations of the ’60s, but when you switch it over to football, it just doesn’t seem to click in,” Hill says. “I think it’s time that the nation understood that the University of Maryland was on the forefront of integrating sports. The play is as much about me as it is about the [university’s] administration of the time.”

The Lincoln Theatre in Washington, D.C., will hold a staged reading on March 21 as part of its “Backstage at the Lincoln” series. The reading, a cooperation between the Lincoln Theatre and Theatre J, seeks to spur a dialogue about the prejudice blacks and Jews have faced.

“This play is so beautifully written. It’s very poignant,” says Bonnie nelson Schwartz, executive producer of the series. “It has great historical significance, and it’s what this series is all about.”

EconomistPOOR.com : Dad was born in the USSR in 1923 - his dad served in British Embassies. Dad's curiosity enjoyed the opposite of a standard examined education. From 11+ Norman observed results of domination of humans by mad white men - Stalin from being in British Embassy in Moscow to 1936; Hitler in Embassy of last Adriatic port used by Jews to escape Hitler. Then dad spent his last days as a teen in allied bomber command navigating airplanes stationed at modernday Myanmar. Surviving thanks to the Americas dad was in Keynes last class where he was taught that only a handful of system designers control what futures are possible. EconomistScotland.com AbedMooc.com

To help mediate such, question every world eventwith optimistic rationalism, my father's 2000 articles at The Economist interpret all sorts of future spins. After his 15th year he was permitted one signed survey a year. In the mid 1950s he had met John Von Neumann whom he become biographer to , and was the only journalist at Messina's's birth of EU. == If you only have time for one download this one page tour of COLLABorations composed by Fazle Abed and networked by billion poorest village women offers clues to sustainability from the ground up like no white ruler has ever felt or morally audited. by London Scot James Wilson. Could Queen Victoria change empire fro slavemaking to commonwealth? Some say Victoria liked the challenge James set her, others that she gave him a poison pill assignment. Thus James arrived in Calcutta 1860 with the Queens permission to charter a bank by and for Indian people. Within 9 months he died of diarrhea. 75 years later Calcutta was where the Young Fazle Abed grew up - his family accounted for some of the biggest traders. Only to be partitioned back at age 11 to his family's home region in the far north east of what had been British Raj India but was now to be ruled by Pakistan for 25 years. Age 18 Abed made the trek to Glasgow University to study naval engineering.

1943 marked centenary autobio of The Economist and my teenage dad Norman prepping to be navigator allied bomber command Burma Campaign -thanks to US dad survived, finished in last class of Keynes. before starting 5 decades at The Economist; after 15 years he was allowed to sign one survey a year starting in 1962 with the scoop that Japan (Korea S, Taiwan soon hk singapore) had found development mp0de;s for all Asian to rise. Rural Keynes could end village poverty & starvation; supercity win-win trades could celebrate Neumanns gift of 100 times more tech per decade (see macrae bio of von neumann)

Since 1960 the legacy of von neumann means ever decade multiplies 100 times more micro-technology- an unprecedented time for better or worse of all earthdwellers; 2025 timelined and mapped innovation exponentials - education, health, go green etc - (opportunities threats) to celebrating sustainability generation by 2025; dad parted from earth 2010; since then 2 journals by adam smith scholars out of Glasgow where engines began in 1760- Social Business; New Economics have invited academic worlds and young graduates to question where the human race is going - after 30 business trips to wealthier parts of Asia, through 2010s I have mainly sherpa's young journalist to Bangladesh - we are filing 50 years of cases on women empowerment at these web sites AbedMOOC.com FazleAbed.com EconomistPoor.com EconomistUN.com WorldRecordjobs.com Economistwomen.com Economistyouth.com EconomistDiary.com UNsummitfuture.com - in my view how a billion asian women linked together to end extreme poverty across continental asia is the greatest and happiest miracle anyone can take notes on - please note the rest of this column does not reflect my current maps of how or where the younger half of the world need to linkin to be the first sdg generation......its more like an old scrap book

how do humans design futures?-in the 2020s decade of the sdgs – this question has never had more urgency. to be or not to be/ – ref to lessons of deming or keynes, or glasgow university alumni smith and 200 years of hi-trust economics mapmaking later fazle abed - we now know how-a man made system is defined by one goal uniting generations- a system multiplies connected peoples work and demands either accelerating progress to its goal or collapsing - sir fazle abed died dec 2020 - so who are his most active scholars climate adaptability where cop26 november will be a great chance to renuite with 260 years of adam smith and james watts purposes t end poverty-specifically we interpret sdg 1 as meaning next girl or boy born has fair chance at free happy an productive life as we seek to make any community a child is born into a thriving space to grow up between discover of new worlds in 1500 and 1945 systems got worse and worse on the goal eg processes like slavery emerged- and ultimately the world was designed around a handful of big empires and often only the most powerful men in those empires. 4 amazing human-tech systems were invented to start massive use by 1960 borlaug agriculture and related solutions every poorest village (2/3people still had no access to electricity) could action learn person to person- deming engineering whose goal was zero defects by helping workers humanize machines- this could even allowed thousands of small suppliers to be best at one part in machines assembled from all those parts) – although americans invented these solution asia most needed them and joyfully became world class at them- up to 2 billion people were helped to end poverty through sharing this knowhow- unlike consuming up things actionable knowhow multiplies value in use when it links through every community that needs it the other two technologies space and media and satellite telecoms, and digital analytic power looked promising- by 1965 alumni of moore promised to multiply 100 fold efficiency of these core tech each decade to 2030- that would be a trillion tmes moore than was needed to land on the moon in 1960s. you might think this tech could improve race to end poverty- and initially it did but by 1990 it was designed around the long term goal of making 10 men richer than 40% poorest- these men also got involved in complex vested interests so that the vast majority of politicians in brussels and dc backed the big get bigger - often they used fake media to hide what they were doing to climate and other stuff that a world trebling in population size d\ - we the 3 generations children parents grandparents have until 2030 to design new system orbits gravitated around goal 1 and navigating the un's other 17 goals do you want to help/ 8 cities we spend most time helping students exchange sustainability solutions 2018-2019 BR0 Beijing Hangzhou:
