Connecting the dots of youth world's most joyful leaders and beautiful dreams to action network

mail chris.macrae@yahoo.co.uk if you are concerned to be introduced into any of these conversations

topic 1 world's most trusted job creating educators and bankers

note on africa's blecher and Imunro- and women empowerment tech nailaC

dear I & N -urgent i believe that I introduce you-  started up africa's greatest youth microcredit in 1999- her love of orphans made JB"s happy families her retirement project; JB united youth gangs oit just mothers circles; it was also the first electroniic operated-transactions microcredit; it also had a simple idea- show you can earn something and we will offer loan to double that; N's grassroots work more than anyone connected village ladies training with mobile phones; she also runs her own telecentre business for abused women; she finally left dhaks 2 years ago for family reasons; she is signing womens empowerment projects across africa; in kenya she knows the networks behind the technology of mpesa and nanocredit; in south africa I have introduced her to taddy blecher who is introducing youth entrepreneur curricula to 14 million school children a year -whence 1 million jobs will be created in next 5 years- a model any major african capital could twin with if it is prepared ti change its schools; if you read quadirs mit journal innovations vol 6 issue 4 - you will see that kenya's banking regulations that I helped shaped have inspired a network of 100+ national regulators to debate the future of cashless banking which is as much a regulatory issue as an open tech issue- this is where sir fazle and the quadirs experiment with bkash.com may yet determine where bangladesh's youth futures spin

Topic 2 where can youth assemble massive green transforming curricula and collaboration movements 2014-2015

About 12 years ago while volunteering at www.simpol.org and being delegated to attend a year of londons make poverty history ngo summits which for most of my friends collapsed through top-down carelessness at 7/7,

Brazil brilliantly developed a curriculum of bon aqua for hundreds of teachers and well over 100000 under 11s living in the water basins of foz (the world's largest dam intersect 3 nations but on the brazilian side its waterbasins are designed around a living lab of ecoprojects)

- this was just one project which resulted from brazil's catholic churches getting a year of water to be proclaimed - which involved thousands of parishes circulating leaflets on why brazilans should not let their water resources be bought up by foreign multinationals- quite literally commercial tv takes over 99.9% of brazilian airtime- so catholic parishes were the biggest freedom of speech channel left

we -ideally you all in s. america as you are the most lively youth catholic networks) really need to find out who in catholic churches is seriously connecting the new popes recommendation of a wholly new curriculum of public service -and work out how to collaborate with such sustainable community leaders- i interpreted a speech of lech walesa to say that is his number 1 recommendation -anyhow he was absolutely clear that the people of poland would have stood up and freed themselves with out the worldwide support of the then pope john paul

the meta-netaworker of brazils conscious citizens of water was franklin but I dont know if his email remains active -if it is a live email.  he probably has  catalogue of which green projects are scaling with educators where

brazils success with social networking also caused the then new president bula to travel overnight from porto alegre to davos between world social and world economic forum - without which schwab at world economic forum would never have become interested in social entrepreenurs nor youth

all this is to say while such scale may sound crazy to some, I for one would rather the youth summit -Road to Cape Town and Atlanta and any partnering youth summits -  spirit is anything that isnt designed to try to connect such scale is already to late to save youth's most urgent problems- so as to fly on the open education bandwagon we need khan academy type production facilities all over atlanta in nov 2015 - even if we only get a few 9 minute youth audios that khan wants to syndicate to millions that will change the world; which is also to say you have 21 months to prepare the best under 9 minute action training on acrediting zero plastic footprint- no harm to start such competitions anywhere you can

of course there can be other segments of supporters of youth summits, but anyhow keep on scaling clara -and as some of us heard on 30 december south africa's blecher parthers  believes full youth employment will take nothing less than a 14 million child curriculum every yera k to 12 on youth entrepreneurship

and of course I still dont know why the above challenge shouldnt be of interest to the club of rome- but as we have already concluded I do not how to tread such hallowed doors

chris

ps sabine still has 12 min film of yunus at his most eloquent in asking green londoners in feb 2008 to unite around him before bangladesh is the first 100 million nation to get meta-flooded

topic 3 south africa 1968 to 2014 -the land where education is changing around youth job creation

Breaking News 2014 - Mandela Student Essay Competition- Thanks To Taddy Blecher- South Africa's Joburg Number 1 Twin City of Job Creating Education curriculum; South Africa's Cape Town Oct 2014 (will Soros join in 36 years after his transformation as world leading philanthropic youth economist began with cape Town Youth Jobs programs). Cape Town is last stop on way to Atlanta staging greatest event ever for future of youth -more searches for youth good news and action networks round Africa

back to The Economist's 1968 survey of south africa

Topic 4 to come the greatest Ilab format ever for youth to innovate microfanchises

topic 4 - purpose of media and youth's purpose of education

great stuff clara

yes we need photographers and everyone who communicates to get back to positive stories and solutions- especially in the west our news channels focus on bad news and fear

one of the useful movements on this that I have seen is at http://www.notimeleft.org/p/film-8.html the wim wenders film  in particular asks what if news channels focused on the positive side of development and solutions being found instead of just stories on disaster and death- this festival was launched out of paris with yunus at the height of his influence there but he didnt help follow up the issue; when you analyse his social business modeling he assumes that freedom of speech aligns with those who offer solutions that improve the human lot -assuming this is the greatest risk he could possibly burden young entrepreneurs with in heavily commercialised societies- its also why yunus has never actually sustained a wizard youth technologists solution where it has been in a case to develop a worldwide platform -you need long-term deep investment pockets to compete in scaling a worldwide medium or a better for the world future app

however although one shouldnt over-estimate how much the turners impact cnn today, CNN does now have a whole journalism group focusing on social and development heroes
I would recommend that positive journalism is something all youth need to try and celebrate, and this is also linked in to monica's movement on who's the most valuable community heroes of youth - for anyone who has ever studied branding atlanta 2015 is the ultimate battle between www.singforhope.org reality of I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony and coke's image-over-reality self-gratification world of americana

Over the last 40 years my father and I's curriculum of entrepreneurial revolution has argued that we are in a subliminal design  war which will decide 21st civilisation - the tv age designed the most dumbing down, command and control, terrifying and pessimistic of media in which congresses became the exact opposite of what democracy had previously meant by public servants (see also the pope's curriculum to get back to servant leaders which could be the greatest cultural contribution that peoples of s.america links into the world over the next 5 years);

could the internet be designed around the smartest, most empowering and community/commons sustaining, and hopeful- the 20+ years since berners lee launched the web has seen this design battle being lost (most of what shouts itself as social media isnt; its controlled by tv media barons and politiical PR lobbies who want to reduce the internet to trivia or single issue persuasion ) - this is the other reason why those involved in open education today may be the last chance to return 21st C youth to connecting positive energies and productive lifestyles.

Some say, and i would agree, helping youth action a collaborative self-confidence it the greatest missing literacy in schools today relates to empowering self confidence cross-culturally and in every way that co-working in teams is different from being examined individually - schools like lucknow are worth studying for this alone; entrepreneurial courses without empowerment facilitation methods are not preparing youth for how the deepest social innovations always involve moving all opposing sides through a conflict barrier to a system with more abundancy

PERSUASIONS SYSTEMIC TRAPS
of course moving from carbon to natural energy, and moving from using arms in the name of safety to youth facilitating peace out of every community are two of the goals that any youth connecting through atlanta needs the whole atlanta experience to resonate joyfully- mathematically speaking these issues are at exponential sustainability's last tipping point

chris

mathematically it is quite simple to design an audit that is perfect for destroying the sustainability of youth's future freedoms of purpose; what you do is measure success as the most powerful side in a value exchange taking from every other side every auditing period- (that is what the big 5 global accounting profession programme into spreadsheeting when they only audit that and have not counterbalancing valuation of goodwill) -this is also the prefect maths for compounding unseen risk, bubbling up systems so that they then collapse or are too big to fail, making the most unsustainable locations to be at boundaries between separated systems "professionals" (this is extremely unwise if our generation's main innovation is hyperconnectedness of a borderless world)

once you have faced the perfect maths for exponentially destroying youth's futures, it is simple to design the exact opposite system audit - that is something those who know of dr yunus' work now call his 100% social business model- its the perfect model for visioning the greatest dreams youth could purposefulyl unite round

in trying to transform from a world where top-down biggest systems rule with the least sustainable system design to a better world, we would recommend mediation - in other words it is logical to expect in between models might compound practical opportunity races while preventing risks- one such model we call social business 51% model; instead of all ownership of the system being governed by those in greatest need of its solution purpose, 51% or more could be sustained around that majority voice

take the case of the next youth technology wizard who designs a platform that the majority of youth communicate through; if she or he systemised 51% of ownership from the getgo to be in trust of interact youth's greatest collaboration dreams for the 21st century - she or he would retain 49% of ownership of resources needed in the battle that should be expected from those platforms that are already there and which are not so pro-youth; moreover as founder she or he would only be giiving away one doubling of value; and if she or he has anchored the system in compounding the most valuable futures all youth would vote for then the system will soon grow way beyond the value that investing that first doubling involved

this is only one way of looking at the maps of what system models to use to value  sustainability of business and society's most purposeful goals- another valid argument is that a region should form an association of most trusted industry leaders - those who want to make the place self-sufficient or secure through having enough talents and peoples livelihoods to not become dependent on some external region's commands -if these hi-trust leaders representing a region or nation are transparently celebrated by everyone then the issue of exactly which model to use for each industry leaders system design becomes secondary; what comes first is that the peoples are represented by topic 5 hi-trust practical leaders- and that these people's knowhow are designed into apprenticeships and indeed every sort of entrepreneurial literacy children could be questioning through action learning curricula not over-examined ones that assume there is only one perfectly correct answer; we are living in a time when greatest innovation is not only possible but essential for 7 billion peoples' optimal livelihoods; innovating means a world where demanding something is set in stone as even 99% correct is the worst possible educational mindset

topic 6 -open education's most valuable focus?

Several people have mentioned roles in empowering youth to realise their future dreams and livelihoods -eg Jennifer in London. So I just wanted to mention a happening that starts at the end of this week - the first MOOC to be taught around a curriculum never taught before -it claims to have emerged from last september's social good summit in new york http://coursera.org/course/changetheworld - it may also act as a rehearsal for this summers NY youth summit being staged by the UN envoy for youth and the world bank's Jim Kim whose joyful spirit as President of Dartmouth helped viralise Ganjan Style celebrations

The segment of open education that most interests my friends involves leaders who connect missing sustainability curricula which can free the net generation's most heroic collaborations. Where do you all find that ? In my last 7 years of searching I would vote for dr yunus and sir fazle abed and taddy blecher as the 3 educators, whose life knowhow is not yet openly accessible as curriculum, but who activate youth capitalism's most human purposes and urgent value multiplying potential

I work on the open education curriculum of Entrepreneurial Revolution (ER) that my father http://normanmacrae.ning.com started over 40 years ago at The Economist. Its aim is to make the net generation the most productive, collaborative and sustainable time for worldwide youth's livelihoods. If we need to change how economists value compound systems so as to free net generation then amen.

I have 2 topmost collaboration deadlines in everything I try to map:
Nov 2015 http://youthcreativelab.blogspot.com when Atlanta . together with peace world's most trusted laureates of every culture and media goal, aims to make youth job creation summits more joyfully impactful for net generarion than sporting olympics. To do this Atlanta's most trusted and resourced leaders will invite twin capitals of million job creation to linkin

Sept 2018 The 175th anniversary of The Economist being founded to mediate an end to hunger and capital abuse of youth. By that time I aim to have emerged the most trusted open educational partners around freeing youth capitalsm and ER's curriculum

My next collaboration wish is 30 january. This will be the second year that I have helped the University of DC connect a term of youth entrepreneur events culminating in a student competition which invites 20 colleges across states neighbouring Washington DC. We believe that one day a year the whole of DC could gain from attending to youth's greatest pitches to create jobs and develop communities or scale worldwide open education solutions. Are any of your networks interested in live interaction with us or replicating something similar locally. For example on 30 January we are inviting "King" the Chapter Leader of Conscious Capitalism DC to clarify what student actions CCDC loves to help connect - both generally and among black Diaspora networks. A question to parent:s and teachers: what do we need to do so that the legacy of love of humanity of Nelson Mandela lives on in all of our children

this is part of a city by city shared contacts format we are trying yo develop with the goal of linking in a correspondent netiork ariound citizens who want twin their capitals as top 30 youth job creating capitals

I'll try to remember to launch one of these per week - please could you add on any best collaboration connects you have  -in this case linking in san diego's purpose and its youth futures -from my perspective ultimately I want a correspondence network of top 30 capitals twinning round million youth jobs creating twin capitals - is san diegi a contender on the road to convergeng  on atlanta something -does it conne cts with women empowerme nt goals of people lie naila and ted turners daughter; or  with twinng such capitals as Dc and atlanta aims to be black youths collaboration entrepreneur epicentres; more in footnotes..
SAN DIEGO
1  san diego is the april host city of conscious capitalism 2014 - while I dont know how much citizen impact lasts beyond the hosting I note that there is an merging chapter being set up there led by I. Malcolm AvnerBusiness, Leadership and Life Coach
- I understand King's 9 months of work on developing DC chapter of conscious capitalism is coming to a first  peak at same time as CC2014 and his first meeting discussing connections with CC and all the student networks UDC is in middle of due to sylvia's work is on jan 30
2 I recall king flew over for a conference in san diego to launch his book - but I still havent exactly understood what  the focus of the book of the conference alumni involved
3 whilst at a global microcreditsummit  summit I met a chinese-american female professor anna lu at san diego university who wishes to connect the students she reaches with yunus type of social edged entrepreneurship -- anna is the sort of teacher I wish I had met at college ; eliminating poverty through education and microfinance http://epteam.ucsd.edu/wp/
i have never been to san diego but I assume simply by looking at the map we need it to be one of our hispanic youth correspondence centres -it would help continue momentum on youth revalues plastic a lot if anyone knows a spanish speaking person there who is as mad about the environment as clara is out of chile-when I put my european hat on I desperately want to connect in spanish and italians as what the eu has done to their youth is absurd (of course its as sad in greece and portugal as well but not to take on too much at one go america cant be sustainable without future of hispanic youth being integrated; and the problem slowing all atlanta that club of rome has some odd sort of veto on atlanta's decision-making
atlanta and south africa need each other to maximise impact of youth and nobel laureate networking as well as to ensure we dont lose mandela's curriculum - and there my link as some of you know is taddy blecher- he has the world leading youth empowerment curriculum which may be of interest to ross and his work; also  I have over xmas made a friendly contact with the founbder of akira one of japan's edgiest aid agencies that originated out of toyota- they have strong histories with cape town
===============
could I suggest that if it works with your mailbox we keep one mastermail going for each city - in other words treat this email like you would as a wiki of collaboration contacts for san diego. Of course I welcome people launching and maintaining a mail on a city they know and whose youth they want fully included and the pieces come together
thanks chris

the mail below is one of the most important professional topics in the world from m viewpoint - but finding people who want to discuss from a mathematical viewpoint and not from a defensive viewpoint their own profession requires has proved very difficult over the 25 years I have collected clues on thus crisis which at end of 1999 I paid a journalist to write a book on as world's greatest maths error- unfortunately he went over the publishers time limit and never completed

==============================================

yusi nice surprise today to get a mail from social impact exchange featuring a paper of yours Yusi Wang Turell, executive director of the Center on Social Innovation & Finance at the Carsey Institute, University of New Hampshire, writes about a Prerequisite for the Growth of a Field: A Common Framework for Social Impact Measurement?, in which she challenges us to consider the benefits of developing field-wide common standards of measurement and evaluation frameworks.
for the maths guy in me exponential impact valuation measurements are one of my favorite subjects though I have to say I have found much literature indigestible (wish that all academics would start at the survey of unseen wealth that margaret blair chaired 2000 while she was working for georgetown law school and brookings)-  its conclusions which drive all the big accountants mad - until an opposite audit counterbalances yours you will compound risk unseen especially at boundaries of systems you treat as separate and ripe for externalisation - not a logical hypothesis for a borderless networked world
one of the great problems in valuation metrics since I began to know there was a problem while working at coopers and lybrand around 1990 is its much better to start with a clean slate than to try and force fit them into tangible accounting top-down without any grounded context -I have been through pretty well every general reporting and accountancy metrics in the book during the 1990s and none of them start with the assumption that tangible accounting is the perfect mathematics for one big side extracting from every other - which is all one gets the only number being looked at is how much profit has one study extracted from all others
- call this a trillion dollar auditing crisis as it also apples to what the most productive purpose of each global market sector needs to be for future of youth
peter is another brit in usa who I first met around 200,8 who unlike me is a chartered accountant but like me would say that if at the end of the day an impact measure has to be fit into way big 4 do tangible accounting it can never sustain anything community sustaining or relevant to youth;'s future trust -and certainly nothing relevant to the millennium greatest collaboration goals such as end poverty
I would love to discuss this face to face some time
also there is much connecting over the next 2 years of process before we try and make the youth entrepreneur expo in atlanta on fall 2015 more impactiful for youth than the olympics - a rough personal blog of this journey is at http://youthcreativelab.blogspot.com
-welcome any suggestions of where or when we could update each others news
while these 2 issues can be updated separately - they could also be connected; 2 ways I can imagine doing that- start to linkin a youth circulation list of social impact - it needs to be a great youth debrief at atlanta' or start preparing jointly some maximum 9 minute audio trainings on this subject in format similar to khan academy
by november 2015 one of my personal goals is
either to have developed some relationship with khan academy so they feature at least some of the audios produced up to atlanta
or to have got agreement by all hosts of atlanta that an alternative top page is to open training links where 9 minute modules on stuff youth have never heard before but need to make the net generation the most productive and sustainably impactful or openly catalogued
or to have got an agreement that some of the content will be used in the youth entrepreneur curriculum that my s.african friend taddy blecher with his partners like branson are planing to distribute to 14 million south african youth a year as the benchmark for the most complete youth entrepreneur literacy schools program from kindergarten up; we are also linking in as far as we can the family responsible for schooling 50000 world citizens a year at lucknow www.cmseducation.org

40 years of The Economist questioning whether the web can be a smarter age for youth than tv advertising is coming to a peak crisis worsened by profesissionals who externalise every valuation metric

Thanks Leif Human Web Impact Valuation Crisis I would love to find a way to list what we all agree we have learnt about intangibles, purposeful goodwill modeling and exponential sustainability of investments round transparent multi-win models (as well as what are still questionmarks) I wonder if you and Kim have perspectives of how to add in eg Nordica,  Germany, France or Japan. Through Kim's connections  my one inspirational new find in impacting system change in valuation modelings is the founder of Akira in Japan

OPEN YOUTH MOVEMENTS

We have the double opportunity over the next 21 months to converge both the systemic valuation crisis and youth's greatest community projects in these practice areas through youth summits culminating on Atlanta's goal to show that a youth jobs creating economics expo can have even more impact for the futures of youth than staging an olympics. This will only happen in my mind if all capitals who want to twin with youth job creation feel simultaneously connected - virtually and for real- with Atlanta http://youthcreativelab.blogspot.com

Yusi and Fiona staged the 5th and most recent pan-state youth competition on what entrepreneurial ideas do Muhammad Yunus future dreams inspire in youth. Here are the top 16 winning videos

http://www.unh.edu/socialbusiness/2013-winners-and-finalists

This entrepreneur competition involved over 50 virtual judges from around the world's capitals - showing that the judging, mentoring and investment networks of youth entrepreneur competitions need continuously connecting as do the student permissions. In addition David Ives was both a judge at New Hampshire and has the most knowledge and permission of any American to connect the youth agenda that have now emerged from 15 Nobel Peace laureate Summits

LONGER REVIEW FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN INTANGIBLES MISVALUATION AS WORLDS BIGGEST MATHS ERROR

Back in the USA : Unseen Wealth's Margaret Blair is someone I interviewed while she was presenting the book . Sadly the incoming Bush Texas administration in 2001 reacted incredibly badly to the news that auditing systems were compounding risk (and may additionally have seen this as part of the Gore mindset though I found Blair's work mathematically pure not political). In any event all funding of this type of work was banned in DC and Blair moved from Georgetown University to Tennessee. When this happened Blair told me that the only open society space left was Brussels Prism project. That's actually why I acted as a volunteer moderator at knowledgeboard. But within 3 years Prism was closed down. Ronald McKay whose job it was in The EU to allocate Prism funds had a final meeting with me- "Chris politicians believe that the public have no interest in intangibles missing valuation. It will take 3 European Enrons in the same year before they review this". Of course with the banking collapse we have now suffered much  more than 3 Enron collapses but compared with the open systems transformation potential that prism and knowledgeboard had at their peak we are further away than ever in redesigning the missing link between unseen wealth and a post-industrial world that frees youth livelihoods . We are still systemising/auditing the sectors with the most community impact - health, education, energy, banking, anti-social media - in ways designed around 1% biggest and speculators and in the West destroying youth's futures through with unlimited social debts of past generations drowning our children

So now can be an unique opportunity to linikin the personal networks to connect capitals with youth futures over the next 21 months through Atlanta in a way that grows positive connections between all youth capitals that participate. We need such regions as Nordica, German influence in EU and Japna to see Atlanta as being as much about their youths futures as Black Americans - the core youth network we know we have mass momentum with. And we need Kims down under capitals with a youth future to feel joint ownership too

Love to hear of ideas on how to forwards this massive youth connective and collaboration search for exponentially sustain multi-win model valuation

OPEN EDU ONE LAST CHANCE TO RECOVER NET GENERATION?

Timingwise the change-world lever that interests me most is for 20 years now I have been personally told that what you say may be logical but nobody has any chance of getting funds to research it - eg by harvard professors when I presented my view of brand valuation and a triple issue of journal of marketing management that I guest edited on 20th century biggest media errors-  there in late 1990s. Open Education platforms like khan academy's greatest opportunity is to links youth to testing missing curricula in pieces they can build into bottom-up wholes. This isnt what 95% of professors think MOOCs are about but fortunately eg Branson, Blecher and Google out of S Afrrica are redesigning a complete curriculum of entrepreneurship from 7 up with the agreement from government that this must be scaled to reach 14 million youth annually within 5 years.

W

LAST CALL: So knowing this possibility, how can we find the educators who  want youth to have access to the missing jobs creating curricula?

In Western hemispheres, it is probable be that every greatest opportunity of the net generation being youth's most productive time will depend on this quest.. Naila knows how to whisper this story through very influential womens networks as she was dr yunus original trainer of village womens use of mobile telecoms from 1996 - where is open technology connecting bottom-up and collaborative networks instead of replacing jobs the way DC and Brussels has used tech to power over instead of empower. And can the system design that Berners Lee opened up make a whole truth comeback?. IF Atlanta has to destroy the advertising  age of Coke imaging over youth with I have a dream of singing in perfect harmony with the new age of promoting I help youth realise job-creating dreams then lets do it before the yes we can generation is as extinct as the dodo.

Youth Summit News on Road to Atlanta Nov 2015

chris.macrae@yahoo.co.uk ( Washington DC)
3) If I can't get to New York myself , can I ask my associate and chartered accountant, whom I have known personally for 7 years, to attend. He was my fathers correspondent in New York for a 1000 book club of Dr Yunus -Social Business; The Future of Capitalism- which the NY publisher Public Affairs kindly sent us a review copy of SBFOC in Q4 2007. We both have over 25 years of experience of mathematics of trust-flow that started at Coopers and Lybrand before it raced to be one of the BIG 5 (Price Waterhouse Coopers) as its Big 5 name was known.
4) My father's foundation is sponsoring several "readers groups" with business students as part of the youth summit process of Atlanta NOV2015 in which 15 Nobel laureates led by Yunus (with a new 501 foundation) and youth will pitch future capitalism "solution franchises" to each other, and develop learning modules in KhanAcademy style formats. Is your document something I can circulate to such youth? Among Youth Summits along the Road to Atlanta: one that most impacts US youth is due to be hosted this summer in New York with the blessing of Jim Kim at the World Bank and the Youth Open Technology Envoy at the UN.

(Father Norman Macrae developed the genre Entrepreneurial Revolution in The Economist from 1976 to question whether the coming net generation could design an alternative system endgame to Orwell's Big Brother -he was delighted that Dr Yunus and his publisher could be chief guests at his 85th and last public birthday party in London St James). Father's last article appeared in a co-publication or Dr Yunus motivated by a talk he was giving to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Adam Smith's theory of moral sentiments in Glasgow. Father's interest in moral theories was stimulated as the son of a British consular who worked in Stalin's Moscow and parts of Europe to be overrun by Hitler, by spending his last days as a teenager navigating RAF planes in world war 2 over out of modern day Bangladesh, and surviving the war to be mentored by Keynes on his theory of how economists bear most systemic responsibility for compounding what futures are children get.

Norman was one of the first to second Dr Yunus's beautiful dream that Cox's Bazaar be redeveloped as a 21st C Singapore and triad trading gateway to Bangladesh, India and China. (ask for copy of Yunus leaflet on Bangla growing up with Asian Giants if you like such concepts) Given the political crisis in Bangladesh/Arab Hemisphere of 2014, I no longer know where Cox's Bazaar concept debates are safe to host -way above my global village conflict resolution paygrade so to speak. http://twitter.com/globalgrameen

Kate I had a look at the wisdom conference -some fascinating speakers. It also gives me an idea of a few more people on email I connect with that may have some common interests- process is a bit hit and miss - tell me if you'd like me to go ahead

I guess what I am most interested in is how to completely transform industries  that have lost their purpose in terms of creating jobs and futures youth /next generations need

There are several elements to youth relationships I wish to massively pattern around purposes of markets whose biggest global players are currently the opposite of sustainable or responsible

mathematically from having worked in big5 accountant through 1990s  I feel my books and some unpublished valuation algorithms can demonstrate how  the maths of goodwill is completely wrong compounding loss of purpose, destroying jobs, multiplying risks at boundaries of what needed to be a win-win partnering world

and it prevents innovating above zero sum models - I guess the above particularly connects 2 of the conscious capitalism quadrants of purpose and modeling transparency though values and drama of leadership have also always been inseparable too (its just at a coaching or facilitation level I find other team partners when that's the core of the project)

I have worked specifically on whats wrong with brand valuation and intangibles for 20 years now (knowing murphy (founder of interbrand) when we were almost in next door offices  in london who literally invented an algorithm for brand valuation that ad agencies liked but those like me who believe corporate brands connect what purpose an organisation lives and learns with exactly the worst way of valuing brands

where i first met jack was in late 1990s i hosted pan europe get-together twice a year of media experts who believed we could do a lot more good with media- jack was the sort of southern hemisphere connector of that and we had some quite high powered retreats; I also guest edited a triple issue of journal of marketing management on errors the ad age had made;  when I presented it at harvard I was told: chris you may be right but we'd never get any funding to research that - I now have a long list of valuation and media subjects that funders of us academia have literally banned especially during the Bush years- the good news of that is there are also sorts of missing curricula to liberate youth around

which loosely connects with another side of my passion for system mapping albeit a more amateur one- dad and I first saw students testing early digital learning networks in 1972- dad converted his expertise as economics editor of The Economist into future histories of "Next Capitalism" and "Entrepreneurial Revolution" whose 1976 survey inspired Drayton to coin the term social entrepreneur -  Dad's logic was much nearer Gifford Pinchot's intrapreneur as dad had been mentored by Keynes that ultimately economist (compound systemic)  design of what futures youth are free to build; by 1984 we scripted a future of what would need to go right by when i...- and we particularly detailed ideas on how digital media would need to open up smart education in every way that ad media had dumber down

with moocs and khan academy I see the next 2 years as the biggest urgent opportunity for youth summits (citizen chapters like CC where my friend King in DC is particularly well related to what all African Diaspora networks want to change both inside usa and across many whole trade markets with africa- our next 2 years of youth summits connect with alumni of mandela in Cape Town and alum... giving the DC chapter of CC quoite an edge , and some forms of ILABs/hubs) to strike back with all sorts of job creating edu curriculum which can be 10 times less costly for youth to build with- by accident the one person who has worked continuously on our 1984 dream of what education be in creating an entrepreneurial revolution for the net generation could be is the octagenarian new zealand gordon dryden - his work (i think is marvellous) www.thelearningweb.net

if you would like me to senda an email between gordon and you please say

Since gaining my MA statistics Cambridge DAMTP 1973 (Corpus Christi College) my special sibject has been community building networks- these are the 6 most exciting collaboration opportunities my life has been privileged to map - the first two evolved as grassroots person to person networks before 1996 in tropical Asian places where village women had no access to electricity grids nor phones- then came mobile and solar entrepreneurial revolutions!!

IF we 8 billion earthlings of the 2020s are to celebrate collaboration escapes from extinction, the knowhow of the billion asian poorest women networks will be invaluable -

in mathematically connected ways so will the stories of diaspora scots and the greatest mathematicians ever home schooled -central european jewish teens who emigrated eg Neumann , Einstein ... to USA 2nd quarter of the 20th century; it is on such diversity that entrepreneurial revolution diaries have been shaped

EconomistPOOR.com : Dad was born in the USSR in 1923 - his dad served in British Embassies. Dad's curiosity enjoyed the opposite of a standard examined education. From 11+ Norman observed results of domination of humans by mad white men - Stalin from being in British Embassy in Moscow to 1936; Hitler in Embassy of last Adriatic port used by Jews to escape Hitler. Then dad spent his last days as a teen in allied bomber command navigating airplanes stationed at modernday Myanmar. Surviving thanks to the Americas dad was in Keynes last class where he was taught that only a handful of system designers control what futures are possible. EconomistScotland.com AbedMooc.com

To help mediate such, question every world eventwith optimistic rationalism, my father's 2000 articles at The Economist interpret all sorts of future spins. After his 15th year he was permitted one signed survey a year. In the mid 1950s he had met John Von Neumann whom he become biographer to , and was the only journalist at Messina's's birth of EU. == If you only have time for one download this one page tour of COLLABorations composed by Fazle Abed and networked by billion poorest village women offers clues to sustainability from the ground up like no white ruler has ever felt or morally audited. by London Scot James Wilson. Could Queen Victoria change empire fro slavemaking to commonwealth? Some say Victoria liked the challenge James set her, others that she gave him a poison pill assignment. Thus James arrived in Calcutta 1860 with the Queens permission to charter a bank by and for Indian people. Within 9 months he died of diarrhea. 75 years later Calcutta was where the Young Fazle Abed grew up - his family accounted for some of the biggest traders. Only to be partitioned back at age 11 to his family's home region in the far north east of what had been British Raj India but was now to be ruled by Pakistan for 25 years. Age 18 Abed made the trek to Glasgow University to study naval engineering.

1943 marked centenary autobio of The Economist and my teenage dad Norman prepping to be navigator allied bomber command Burma Campaign -thanks to US dad survived, finished in last class of Keynes. before starting 5 decades at The Economist; after 15 years he was allowed to sign one survey a year starting in 1962 with the scoop that Japan (Korea S, Taiwan soon hk singapore) had found development mp0de;s for all Asian to rise. Rural Keynes could end village poverty & starvation; supercity win-win trades could celebrate Neumanns gift of 100 times more tech per decade (see macrae bio of von neumann)

Since 1960 the legacy of von neumann means ever decade multiplies 100 times more micro-technology- an unprecedented time for better or worse of all earthdwellers; 2025 timelined and mapped innovation exponentials - education, health, go green etc - (opportunities threats) to celebrating sustainability generation by 2025; dad parted from earth 2010; since then 2 journals by adam smith scholars out of Glasgow where engines began in 1760- Social Business; New Economics have invited academic worlds and young graduates to question where the human race is going - after 30 business trips to wealthier parts of Asia, through 2010s I have mainly sherpa's young journalist to Bangladesh - we are filing 50 years of cases on women empowerment at these web sites AbedMOOC.com FazleAbed.com EconomistPoor.com EconomistUN.com WorldRecordjobs.com Economistwomen.com Economistyouth.com EconomistDiary.com UNsummitfuture.com - in my view how a billion asian women linked together to end extreme poverty across continental asia is the greatest and happiest miracle anyone can take notes on - please note the rest of this column does not reflect my current maps of how or where the younger half of the world need to linkin to be the first sdg generation......its more like an old scrap book

how do humans design futures?-in the 2020s decade of the sdgs – this question has never had more urgency. to be or not to be/ – ref to lessons of deming or keynes, or glasgow university alumni smith and 200 years of hi-trust economics mapmaking later fazle abed - we now know how-a man made system is defined by one goal uniting generations- a system multiplies connected peoples work and demands either accelerating progress to its goal or collapsing - sir fazle abed died dec 2020 - so who are his most active scholars climate adaptability where cop26 november will be a great chance to renuite with 260 years of adam smith and james watts purposes t end poverty-specifically we interpret sdg 1 as meaning next girl or boy born has fair chance at free happy an productive life as we seek to make any community a child is born into a thriving space to grow up between discover of new worlds in 1500 and 1945 systems got worse and worse on the goal eg processes like slavery emerged- and ultimately the world was designed around a handful of big empires and often only the most powerful men in those empires. 4 amazing human-tech systems were invented to start massive use by 1960 borlaug agriculture and related solutions every poorest village (2/3people still had no access to electricity) could action learn person to person- deming engineering whose goal was zero defects by helping workers humanize machines- this could even allowed thousands of small suppliers to be best at one part in machines assembled from all those parts) – although americans invented these solution asia most needed them and joyfully became world class at them- up to 2 billion people were helped to end poverty through sharing this knowhow- unlike consuming up things actionable knowhow multiplies value in use when it links through every community that needs it the other two technologies space and media and satellite telecoms, and digital analytic power looked promising- by 1965 alumni of moore promised to multiply 100 fold efficiency of these core tech each decade to 2030- that would be a trillion tmes moore than was needed to land on the moon in 1960s. you might think this tech could improve race to end poverty- and initially it did but by 1990 it was designed around the long term goal of making 10 men richer than 40% poorest- these men also got involved in complex vested interests so that the vast majority of politicians in brussels and dc backed the big get bigger - often they used fake media to hide what they were doing to climate and other stuff that a world trebling in population size d\ - we the 3 generations children parents grandparents have until 2030 to design new system orbits gravitated around goal 1 and navigating the un's other 17 goals do you want to help/ 8 cities we spend most time helping students exchange sustainability solutions 2018-2019 BR0 Beijing Hangzhou:
