King Charles Started A MOST IMPORTANT CONVERSATION Nov 2023:
we are witnessing one of the greatest technological leaps in the history of human endeavor the rapid rise of powerful artificial intelligence is considered by many of the greatest thinkers of our age to be no less significant no less important than the discovery of electricity, the splitting of the atom, the creation of the worldwide web or even the harnessing of fire
AI holds the potential to completely transform Life as we know it; to help us better treat and perhaps even cure conditions like cancer heart disease and Alzheimer's to hasten our journey towards net zero and realize a new era of potentially Limitless clean green energy even just to help us make our everyday lives a bit easier
however if we are to realize the untold benefits of AI then we must work together on combating its significant risks; too AI continues to advance with ever greater speed towards models that some predict could surpass human abilities , even human
understanding; there is a clear imperative to to ensure that this rapidly evolving technology remains safe and secure and because AI does not respect International boundaries this Mission demands International coordination and collaboration.
To support this Global effort the United Kingdom is proud to host this Summit in Bletchley Park the birthplace of modern Computing where Alan Turing famously cracked the Enigma code and laid the foundations for a new digital age. Transitions like the one AI is heralding always presents profound challenges especially in preparing for unintended consequences; it is incumbent on those with responsibility to meet these challenges to protect people's privacy and livelihoods which are essential to both our economic and psychological well-being to secure our democracies from harm and to ensure the benefits of new technology are shared by all. I've always believed in the importance of holding a conversation both within and across societies to address such great challenges of bringing governments in the public sector together with civil society and the private sector in that conversation adhering to the values tenants of faith and laws that we all held so dear. That is how the International Community has sought to tackle climate change to light a path to Net Zero and Safeguard the future of our planet we must similarly address the risks presented by AI with a sense of urgency unity and Collective Strength so on behalf of the United Kingdom I want to thank you all for the vital role you are playing in this shared Endeavor for laying the foundations of a lasting consensus on AI safety and for ensuring that this immensely powerful technology is indeed a Force for good in this world
He invited places to join in developing world series on advancing how every human being and place can gain ... we start our map of AI20s by identifying some who have most actvely taken up Gharles offer

There's a lot other places could learn from UAE approach including idea of data sovereignty - nvidai's huang interviewed by uae ai mnister Alolama
suggest places should ensure they own unique inteligence sourced in their langiage and all aspects of diversity
also the uae has been one of deepest supporters od ITU whose worldwide meeting advace communicatins industry stanrdads - norabky leaps in data transmtitted 2G around 190 to %g now
UAE - AI's newest north star?
Sheikh Hadan - Blueprint A
Blomberg Johns Hopkins has become one of my main searches in 2024 - its in the region i live and the Philathropy approach of Bloomberg has built up step by step to a collection of intelligences which is sequentailly unusual
what intel do mayors need to have long term impact particularly where fed has previously maintained it in a coded way
how can the university that is largest in continued research for gov services like NIH or DofE deepen or it widen 100 professorial hires (BDP Bloomberg Distinguished Professors); so that AI has real engineering depth as well as inspirational attraction to milennials
as many as 7000 mayprs have now participated in smart city catalogues and some cluster have come ip with failrly simple things - eg in america and many countries there are huge numbers of health care jobs unfiled- so why not start high scchool content designed round matching skills these jobs need
Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike spoke exclusively to Bloomberg Quicktake anchor 111 Kurumi Mori about the city’s status as a financial hub, green finance, reopening borders and the weak yen at a Bloomberg New Voices event in Tokyo. (Source: Bloomberg)
todat about 13,5 bilion has gone into mayrs secifcations of intel they need, abut 4 billion into john hopkins; can the two come tigether to make hopkins second only as unique ai fire to the valley and a compliementary one
some early names
Bloomberg
Patti Harris
81 Ronald Daniels 82Rama Chellappa 83 Suchi Saria,, who uses AI to individualize patient care
84 Mark Dredze Bloomberg GpT 85 Yury Dvorkin, emerging smart grid technologies
mention of dvorkin's work connects with recently leaps forward out of dc in green research- bezos 10 billion dollar earth fund and world bank banga's new livable planet initiative - see banking abcde summit but this also brings me to edgiest energy intel seen around uae Alolama interview with Huang, ..102 Al-Khowaiter 103 Peng Xiao.

Bloomberg is probably the most interesting business media man ever
he makes his money from new york/wall street centric gossip most attracting eg the big hedge funds
he's 85 and unlike some rich families his succession appears to be committed to his philanthropy medi-ation; it connect the intelligence mayors need to sustain community /economies intelligence for youth to be renewable generation and to rely on his alma mater hopkins in baltimore-dc - this way he connects potentially all the smartest entrepreneurial movements on east coast usa and may be perfect complement to californian intelligence
lets try and break down how to follow his subnetworks and which of the tipping point issues amercan and the word is facing each quarter to syrf the wave with bloomberg connectors
New Example of missing curriculum
Team bloomberg have noticed vacancies hor health s4ervants in communities everywhere; with 8 high schools they are tesing how to spend some of a gradiatimg high school srudent's time if they are interested in health service career careerr
https://youtu.be/NqgDUShT1Ko?si=sxijmZRIkdQGGfj3&t=80
More generaly fir 15 years now expert journald lie The Lancet have suggesed in population terms biggest missing curricula is preteens personal health- the issue is to do this effectvely peer to peer is necessary- this seems to be beyond the remut of classrooms schools as lefislated in usa...

Catchup with Mayor Koike & Bloomberg; 2016 at first annual review o sdgs - 5 people said sdg4 education was not only broken but also blocking all other (sustainability goals 1-17 )sdgs last mile pracrice and data- Koike was the only mayor there; word bank leader jim kim was the main sdg3 2 1 conector; soon melinda gates not only joined in late but helped guterres draft un2.0 while embedding goal 5 women empowerment (3 years earlier she and jensen huang were first to fund NGO of Fei-Fei Li - education for all starts with a missing lesson for each age 6 up at https://ai-4-all.org/resources/
=======
Catalogue of missing skils msyors are remedying with specil thanks to Mayor Koike, Jim Kim, Bloomberg, and Bangladesh where we first started seeing action learning solutions. Not a key issue is when does practice/apprentceship achive what cassroom exam cannot.
Whilst this may be obvious in sports and musuc, its as important in maths ad engineering and entrepreneurship; if there are any last mile vacancues eg health services yur place finds hard to fill this suggests an educatin mismatch- have a look and see if a mayor anywhere is helping change this - or chat with us chris.macrae@yahoo.co.uk we dream tat one day a chat will be designed to be the agency of every child or family to wholy remedy broken education but althugh this was one of the first ideas of those who prved deep learning breakthrough its amazing how most schools do not reward tachers who want to help with these chnges- join a million teachers loking at this problem at ed3dao.com - f=ounded by vriti saraf , mention us Bangladeshi Women Empowered Friends - Moocs of Abed & Yunus
Pls note this log is odredred partly by who shared this problems with us first and partly by whom is helping mayrs share this solution. It seems that if a leader's place responsibility s unfer 500000 people typically 150000 aged 0 to 16, then she or he may beclose enough to want to share solutions. There are some exceprional mayors- Tokyo,s Koike being the case we know best in developed world both to watch and see how far here influnce cnnects a chain f cncerned people- tankduy Bloomberg philanthripops specialses in this and Koike is seen as one of the supermayors `

in mathematically connected ways so will the stories of diaspora scots and the greatest mathematicians ever home schooled -central european jewish teens who emigrated eg Neumann , Einstein ... to USA 2nd quarter of the 20th century; it is on such diversity that entrepreneurial revolution diaries have been shaped
EconomistPOOR.com : Dad was born in the USSR in 1923 - his dad served in British Embassies. Dad's curiosity enjoyed the opposite of a standard examined education. From 11+ Norman observed results of domination of humans by mad white men - Stalin from being in British Embassy in Moscow to 1936; Hitler in Embassy of last Adriatic port used by Jews to escape Hitler. Then dad spent his last days as a teen in allied bomber command navigating airplanes stationed at modernday Myanmar. Surviving thanks to the Americas dad was in Keynes last class where he was taught that only a handful of system designers control what futures are possible. EconomistScotland.com AbedMooc.com
To help mediate such, question every world eventwith optimistic rationalism, my father's 2000 articles at The Economist interpret all sorts of future spins. After his 15th year he was permitted one signed survey a year. In the mid 1950s he had met John Von Neumann whom he become biographer to , and was the only journalist at Messina's's birth of EU. == If you only have time for one download this one page tour of COLLABorations composed by Fazle Abed and networked by billion poorest village women offers clues to sustainability from the ground up like no white ruler has ever felt or morally audited. by London Scot James Wilson. Could Queen Victoria change empire fro slavemaking to commonwealth? Some say Victoria liked the challenge James set her, others that she gave him a poison pill assignment. Thus James arrived in Calcutta 1860 with the Queens permission to charter a bank by and for Indian people. Within 9 months he died of diarrhea. 75 years later Calcutta was where the Young Fazle Abed grew up - his family accounted for some of the biggest traders. Only to be partitioned back at age 11 to his family's home region in the far north east of what had been British Raj India but was now to be ruled by Pakistan for 25 years. Age 18 Abed made the trek to Glasgow University to study naval engineering.
1943 marked centenary autobio of The Economist and my teenage dad Norman prepping to be navigator allied bomber command Burma Campaign -thanks to US dad survived, finished in last class of Keynes. before starting 5 decades at The Economist; after 15 years he was allowed to sign one survey a year starting in 1962 with the scoop that Japan (Korea S, Taiwan soon hk singapore) had found development mp0de;s for all Asian to rise. Rural Keynes could end village poverty & starvation; supercity win-win trades could celebrate Neumanns gift of 100 times more tech per decade (see macrae bio of von neumann)
Since 1960 the legacy of von neumann means ever decade multiplies 100 times more micro-technology- an unprecedented time for better or worse of all earthdwellers; 2025 timelined and mapped innovation exponentials - education, health, go green etc - (opportunities threats) to celebrating sustainability generation by 2025; dad parted from earth 2010; since then 2 journals by adam smith scholars out of Glasgow where engines began in 1760- Social Business; New Economics have invited academic worlds and young graduates to question where the human race is going - after 30 business trips to wealthier parts of Asia, through 2010s I have mainly sherpa's young journalist to Bangladesh - we are filing 50 years of cases on women empowerment at these web sites AbedMOOC.com FazleAbed.com EconomistPoor.com EconomistUN.com WorldRecordjobs.com Economistwomen.com Economistyouth.com EconomistDiary.com UNsummitfuture.com - in my view how a billion asian women linked together to end extreme poverty across continental asia is the greatest and happiest miracle anyone can take notes on - please note the rest of this column does not reflect my current maps of how or where the younger half of the world need to linkin to be the first sdg generation......its more like an old scrap book
how do humans design futures?-in the 2020s decade of the sdgs – this question has never had more urgency. to be or not to be/ – ref to lessons of deming or keynes, or glasgow university alumni smith and 200 years of hi-trust economics mapmaking later fazle abed - we now know how-a man made system is defined by one goal uniting generations- a system multiplies connected peoples work and demands either accelerating progress to its goal or collapsing - sir fazle abed died dec 2020 - so who are his most active scholars climate adaptability where cop26 november will be a great chance to renuite with 260 years of adam smith and james watts purposes t end poverty-specifically we interpret sdg 1 as meaning next girl or boy born has fair chance at free happy an productive life as we seek to make any community a child is born into a thriving space to grow up between discover of new worlds in 1500 and 1945 systems got worse and worse on the goal eg processes like slavery emerged- and ultimately the world was designed around a handful of big empires and often only the most powerful men in those empires. 4 amazing human-tech systems were invented to start massive use by 1960 borlaug agriculture and related solutions every poorest village (2/3people still had no access to electricity) could action learn person to person- deming engineering whose goal was zero defects by helping workers humanize machines- this could even allowed thousands of small suppliers to be best at one part in machines assembled from all those parts) – although americans invented these solution asia most needed them and joyfully became world class at them- up to 2 billion people were helped to end poverty through sharing this knowhow- unlike consuming up things actionable knowhow multiplies value in use when it links through every community that needs it the other two technologies space and media and satellite telecoms, and digital analytic power looked promising- by 1965 alumni of moore promised to multiply 100 fold efficiency of these core tech each decade to 2030- that would be a trillion tmes moore than was needed to land on the moon in 1960s. you might think this tech could improve race to end poverty- and initially it did but by 1990 it was designed around the long term goal of making 10 men richer than 40% poorest- these men also got involved in complex vested interests so that the vast majority of politicians in brussels and dc backed the big get bigger - often they used fake media to hide what they were doing to climate and other stuff that a world trebling in population size d\ - we the 3 generations children parents grandparents have until 2030 to design new system orbits gravitated around goal 1 and navigating the un's other 17 goals do you want to help/ 8 cities we spend most time helping students exchange sustainability solutions 2018-2019 BR0 Beijing Hangzhou:
