great jack - hadnt realised you were the connector of yunus partnership at National University of Singapore-- part of yunus family 7 months ago asked me semi-confidentially to map worst scenario of where would be best if yunus had to go into temporary exile - I had been wondering about singapore as a nearest safe haven but am also most confident that paris would wholly support yunus, and have every increasing confidence in kyushu ; I am still working on london which has great green matches with yunus but has been wrongly briefed because the BBC's main man in dhaka was headhunted by hasina family

interested in listing 7 biggest colaboration projects out of each region as well as a world top 20 -eg why not get 5 yunus universities to chnage MBA course and rerank all business schools; why not start up a green social business stockarket with royal seals of approval ; ... how do we help youth constructively challenge macroeconomics wherever it is ruining jobs; how do we match yunus 50 most resourced leaders with youth's votes and action networks for millennium goals 

 

actually there is so much to action and  some  different priorities of hans teams and collaboration ones that interest me most urgently- for example my dad worked at The Economist as their corrrespodnent on entrepreneurial revolution (and changing models of capitalism including adam smith's original aims to end poverty ) for 40 years and came to believe in his last 3 years of life that yunus was the one economist in the world that youth most needed to correct half a century of mnacroeconomic errors (and vested interests); dad had also first forecast in 1975 that 1976-2075 would be asia pacific century and was always more popular in Japan and far east than anywhere else; I have spent much of my last 20 years developing maps that reserach compound risk before rushing to image over opportunity

 

also dad and my friends were first to journalise the future of the net generation back in 1984- and there are many community-level services that are badly off sustainability track in our view- because of our belief that tech isnt truly being used/valued to help youth create jobs, yunus has authorised people around me to set up a tech roundatble at the same time as his biggest economic monent in 2011 when he testifies on economics to US congress

-this is being coordinated by adam smith alumni out of Glasgow and zasheem is its content assembler/editor-in-chief; back in october yunus and lamiya had agreed that a condition of the launch was my faily would provide loans to mail out to 3000 top leaders of yunus choice but somehow the sampling frame that was derived was much patchier than I would have though economic

incidentally there are some china projects that especially interest me- by any chnace do you know of people animating yunus projects in china- two I most trying to get full knowledge and permissions to track are anything to do with jack ma at ali baba and anything to do with yang yin bao - a miracle innovation between yunus, danone and china's top infant nutritionalists
