Keynes said that knowingly or unknowingly, economists design the futures the next generation get. From 1843, The Economist accepted this responsibility in most of its 7 quarters as a mediator of end hunger and end capital abuse of youth

VALUING THE ECONOMIST'S QUARTERS 7,6,5 - 2018 175th year of end hunger
I don't know why 21st economists have lost ability to hi-trust map of economics of change. I do know all the clues on how to get out of collapsing systems appear in The Economist during its fifth and 6th quarters. Youth economics curricula need to put these clues up on open education platforms as an urgent priority, while also studying Bangladesh villages as the most exciting social labs for mobilizing open tech
through human history- only 2 dynamics explain worldwide advance of the human lot - new energy abundancy and freer access to education- both of those opportunities could be mapped from the viewpoint of entrepreneurial revolution dialogues in The Economist starting 1972 as linking worldwide youth of 2010s - calling leaders whop believe that with economic models wholly valuing win-win-wins- 2010s can yet be youth's most productive and collaborative decade www.wholeplanet.tv
.here is extract of key text for 2008's annual review of 10 green bottles of Entrepreneurial Revolution - the last year Norman Macrae was well enough to write the core text of ER's curricululm
How to Avert A Great Depression Through the Hungry 2010s? Answer, By Making All Banking Very Much Cheaper This was Norman Macrae's last article written in December 2008 If banks in rich democracies had been truly competitive institutions, at least one of them somewhere would have seized the main opportunity created by the computer. This main opportunity was to make all deposit-banking vastly cheaper than ever before. By this cheapening it should make such banking hugely more profitable. Then further competition would search for the cheapest ways to guide all the world's saving into the most profitable (or otherwise most desirable) forms of capital investment, thus enriching all mankind. Instead, during 2008 the total losses of banks in rich democracies- in North America, West Europe and Japan - soared into trillions of dollars. Fearful for their solvency, these banks virtually stopped lending. The issuance of corporate bonds, commercial paper, and many other financial products largely ceased. Hedge and insurance firms also crashed. Mankind is thus threatened in the 2010s with its longest great depression since the hungry 1930s. |

Let's suppose the references in posts below are correct that nations have never grown without hi-trust business (because at the end of the day only businesses have the potential to create wealth while governments and charities by definition use wealth) related bookmarkstop 100 muddled economics videos -free the teachers of 11 year olds... current #1 soros rethink economics from ground up - further ref http://inetworkeconomics.org http://www.opensocietyfoundations.org/ … |

THEN the most urgent questions in the world youth can debate are:
1) how does one define hi-trust business? how do we ensure our society only license professions that openly value hi-trust systems
2) what causes can we find for nations or whole generations losing hi-trust businesses? click to inform yourself how television advertising spiraled vicioius distrust; use Entreprebeuria Revolution's 7 wonders thinkpad to see what other anti-yout monopolies need transforming wherever a nation or region is to get vback to valuing hi-trust busiensses (and devaluing untrustworthy businesses

Democracy is not about how vested interest war over the minds of the majority , it is about a constitution capable of electing public servants who ensure those (born) with the least have a right to make the entrepreneurial most of their lives -ps Entrepreneur (French for between-take) refers to just over 200 years ago where some places started executing those 1% richest who monopolised the people's assets - how to design a world in which the other 99% could sustain productive lifetimes- the initial para of 1776 Declaration of Independence (its context of valuing peoples happiness and freedom) chartered this spirit before the E-word was coined
