Dear Friends of Young Professionals at World Bank
At Friday's launch of Atlanta's Nobel-peace and youth summit (which their mayor calls the biggest event since the Olympics) David specifically asked to be introduced to you. He has been steering selection committees choice of locations of annual summit for over a decade and is especially concerned with youth relationships. So he'd like to exchange experiences of processes that connect youth impacts of summits as well s agenda of each Nobel peace laureate who sees youth networking as urgent
David got to hear of your summit as I needed to apologise for only staying at the 2013 Warsaw Nobel summit for a day so I could get back to your summit. As well as connecting East Europe youth actions with Atlanta in 2015, 2014's summit is out of Cape Town providing chance to twin African and Atlanta youth.
V.. (you mentioned you are from Atlanta) and it would be great to know of your foci at Civil Society and Foundations. N... you mentioned East Europe is a focus of your work. Such Atlanta-based families as the Turners and The Carters are fully committed to making Atlanta Yunus' favourite Youth Futures Capital and have linked in this year's celebrations of Martin Luther King and next years opening of the new human rights museum. Atlanta's public university system was the first to stage a Yunus Social Business
student entrepreneur competition involving teams from all public colleges in the state and invite experiences on how such summits can change statewide view of what youth can communally regenerate
As previously mentioned: Mohammad Bhuiyan, who first started connecting a hundred HBUs in entrepreneur competitions back in 2000, is responsible for ensuring summit serves Nobel Laureate and Youth needs and coordinates the Yunus Creative Lab 501 Foundation to connect this. Naila is now DC-based and was one of the first to help Yunus train village ladies in mobile connectivity, chaired one of your panels, is well connected with what progress the UN has recently made around open technology and youth as well as leading womens empowerment networks
I attach a version of Friday's program. Please say if it would be useful at any time to come over to The Bank some time to help give a first guided tour of the interests of those who are starting to converge youth around an event which may not be as big as the Olympics but has every chance of inviting youth to change the world far more than any Olympics can. I am trying to understand which Youth networks in DC next need to know how to join in. In spite of circulating 1000 Yunus books and 10000dvds since 2007, I havent yet found who in DC wants to connect all the different universities and youth-related networks in a massive open collaboration towards job creation and youth's most human goals for the millennium they are starting up. I do hope we can find a way to twin youth energies between DC and Atlanta and other pro=youth capitals.
sincerely

Dear David
Do you know whether the Italian friends of the Nobel and Youth Summit have any positive connections with Romano Prodi?
I ask because back in 1976 Romano Prodi translated my father's Entrepreneurial Revolution survey across Europe - the first survey The Economist published on the futures of the net generation
I want to see a MOOC curriculum of pro-youth economics, and the Principal of Glasgow University is hosting a remembrance party to my father on December 6. Anton Muscatelli - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
As the principal Anton Muscatelli is Italian, the chance to linkin Glasgow and its central role in the MOOC platform future learn, Italian Entrepreneurial Revolutionaries and Atlanta Yunus inspired ones could be timely
It is worth noting that to date there is only one change world summit being turned into a massive youth curriculum and this is being chaired by the president of Wesleyian University - does anyone know him? https://www.coursera.org/course/changetheworld
Dear Mohammad
Could you relay this mail to Hank if there is a possibility that the Atlanta university system and Scotland's might get back to the curriculum of what Adam Smith and Yunus agreed on as pro-youth economists. It was always the number 1 lesson of Keynes (that my dad received in Cambridge 1945) that economists who failed to make youth central to their modeling end up designing the future around anti-youth systems - often unconsciously. This is clearly what over 95% of economists in the nightly news and sadly still advising Obama are doing.
Dear Navneet - you mentioned having chatted to founder of Khan Academy. Do you know him well enough to phone and see whether khan academy and Atlanta summit have any common partnering interests in massively
connecting the Yunus dream announced at 2013 skoll conference
