If you can think of a different most valuable game - we'd love to hear form you - firstname.lastname@example.org
advisory : please note we do not recommend this game is played to cause political or tribal arguments nor to scorn particular individuals; in our view worldwide youth as a whole has far more urgent and valuable goals to mediate than that! this exercise is however about whether those who rule over you are constitutionally free to do so in ways that celebrate youth's hopes and dreams
exercise: usa version - make a list of the 3 biggest decisions government's top people have made so far this 21st C- did any of these have different outcomes from what your peoples believed they were being told?
for any decision that did have much less good consequences than was anticipated , connect with people you most trust and clarify whether you agree on what were the bad or sad consequences- once you have that list what changes to the whole system or constitution might have produced either a different decision or a different outcome
exercise worldwide version: the core exercise is the same: make a list of the 3 biggest decisions impacting this century so far- however depending where you are, you will need to choose how to describe the constitutional office that ruled over your peoples, and if it is not locally safe to do this exercise then we suggest that you dont do it for your case - if you have trusted connections with youth in other places where they can share doing their exercise with you then why not observe that process
email@example.com - i would love to hear from any youth group - or youth summits- who does this exercise - we could confidentially discuss whether other youth have come up with similar diagnoses - and if I find two or more youth groups want to share ideas with each other I can check how you want to be introduced. However I do not wish to receive , nor will I transmit, anything that is likely to endanger people's safety. My experience is that the most innovative exercises do raise questions that parts of society has forbidden asking - how to locally open up freedom to raise honest questions is something that needs deeply local and cultural understanding. Historically I come from 5 generations of Scots who have lived and networked all over the world.
My clans (social networks of friends, family ...) and I only know how little we know about why some cultures and (some peoples current ruling systems) have lost so much hope or trust in each other that many biggest nations now spend over 20% of all our lives earn on arms. As a mathematician this doesnt make sense if the number 1 change youth is now connecting around the world depends on a borderless planet - in the way that nature makes her evolutionary rules differently from how the world's most powerful men do.
Here are notes on some other critical areas ofhuman service and need as health, energy, banking, media ... that do not make mathematical ( systemic) sense to us regarding futures worldwide youth most needs to explore now
